Sloths are not very big animals, they're about the size of a small dog, with short and very flat heads! The color of sloths don't really have much variation, it's usually a greyish-brown. They can start to look greenish-brown because since they move so slowly algae starts to grow on them. Sloths are nocturnal, which means they sleep during the day. They sleep in the fetal position so when they're sleeping they're disguised as part of the tree that they're in. Sloths stay in the same tree for years! Since they have really long hooked nails and long arms it helps them hang from trees for long periods of time. Their metabolism is very slow, so they don't need much food. Sloths consume fruit, leaves, buds, and young twigs.

A toucan's bill can be black, blue, brown, green, red, white, yellow, or a combination of colors. The bright colors of their bills help them attract a mate. Toucans hang out in the upper canopy of tropical rain forests, they are important to the rainforest because when they eat fruit they disperse the seeds in the forest. When they sleep they tuck their bill into their wings and tail to hide their beak.
