Bromeliads are not exclusive to tropical rain forests, they are found in temperate to tropical rain forests. Their helpful to the ecosystem because their leaves form a bowl and can hold up to 12 gallons of water, allowing the ecosystem to thrive by hosting bacteria, mosquitos, and salamander frogs.
➠Lianas are vines the climb up trees and drape over them. They've adapted to living in a rainforest by having their roots in the ground and then climbing to the top canopy to get the necessary sunlight, most lianas start life in the upper canopy and then send their roots to the ground.
⇶ Bamboo is also grown in the tropics (tropical rainforests included), and it can be economical even though the plants and animals in a rainforest don't care about that kind of stuff. Bamboo can be used as food and to weave items in Japan. Even though you might not have expected it, bamboo does grow in the tropics.
